We use a Carl Zeiss Omni Pico dental operating microscope for all consultations and root canal treatments. This allows us to see and treat your teeth with an incredible level of detail and precision.
On Site 3D Imaging
Cone beam computed tomography, or CBCT, is essential when diagnosing difficult cases.
It is often able to detect pathology which cannot be seen on conventional 2D radiographs.
Our Clinic
We are located in a new, spacious, purpose built surgery on the 1st floor at 455 Papanui Road.

Dr. Jay Pachchigar
Dentist Limited to Endodontics
Born in Birmingham, UK (without the accent!) Jay graduted from King's College London in 2012. He then worked as a general dentist in the NHS for five and a half very long years. He completed an MSc in Endodontics, also from King's College London, in 2019, passing with Distinction.
Outside of dentistry Jay enjoys the incredible life style New Zealand has to offer, including sky diving, scuba diving, hiking and astrophotography.
Rae Kivell
Receptionist
Rae is from Christchurch and gained an MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Canterbury. Her early employment was in the English language industry, however, an introduction to the field of Endodontics in 2010 fostered a love for helping others and seeing them pain free, thus easily becoming her preferred vocation. A Certificate in Dental Assisting followed, along with reception duties.
Neurides Moraoes (Nell)
Dental Assistant
Originally from Brazil, Nell has been in New Zealand for a total of 10 years. She has been a dental assistant for over 2 years and prides herself on excellent patient care and helping people feels as relaxed as possible during treatment.
